Academic Initiative

One of the reasons for the diminishing conduct of clinical studies within Japan is the lack of infrastructure to support high quality clinical development on a global scale. In particular there is an acute shortage of trained Biostatisticians capable of faithfully conducting analysis from both a biological and statistical point of view. Iberica Holdings supports the development of biostatisticians, such as by providing practical work experience opportunities.

The value of Iberica’s biostatistics resources has also been acknowledged through the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) appointing Iberica to support the development of a Japanese biostatistics curriculum. Iberica is proud to be an industry supporter of this program thereby furthering the capabilities of Japanese biostatisticians.
